I live in fear of that happening again some day, but not for this trip since Kyle’s staying here and housesitting. We once had a taxi never show up for a trip to Hawaii and by the time we got to the airport they’d given our seats away and we had to fly standby. One HUGE stress was taken off when Kyle pointed out that he can take us to the airport and pick us up – waiting for the taxi and worrying if it will ever come is the WORST part of travel for me. Right now I’m in the peaceful delusion that it will all work out fine, which is a nice place to be. I always freak out the day before travel and the morning of, but once we’re buttoned into the first plane I’m hunky dory.
